We collect the report information you provide. We share report information with program partners who are authorized to receive report information like schools, local law enforcement, and the Department of Public Safety to help a person who is the subject of an anonymous report.

When you open our report form through our website or mobile app, we automatically collect your IP address or device information. We store this information separately from other information we collect, and it is not accessible to program staff or partners except in very rare instances described in the following paragraph. Except in those rare instances, we delete this information after 72 hours. We do not collect any other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it to us.

Safe2Tell does not share any personal information collected when you make a report (including your IP address) except when necessary to prevent the imminent physical harm or serious bodily injury of a person pursuant to section 24-31-607(3), C.R.S., or in response to a court order issued pursuant to section 24-31-607(4), C.R.S. This is extremely rare.
