Student Ambassador Application
Safe2Tell is excited to have you apply for our 2025-2026 school year student ambassador program! Our ambassadors will help provide insight and feedback on our program and make sure that we are youth-centered in our work. Si necesita el forma en Español, está AQUÍ. Applications open August 27th, 2025 and will close September 24th, 2025 at 11:59pm*.
*References will be required for those applicants selected to interview.
Student ambassador job description overview:
Ambassadors will serve as positive role models for their peers, raise awareness of Safe2Tell in their schools and communities, and promote Safe2Tell through a variety of relatable, creative, and thoughtful projects. For example, ambassadors might create student-led Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to be featured on Safe2Tell’s social media platforms, attend outreach events hosted by their schools to distribute marketing materials, or give a Safe2tell presentation to their peers.
Qualifications:
- Sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Interest in school safety, leadership development, marketing, community service, public policy, and/or related fields.
- Availability for virtual monthly meetings, and the final presentation event that will be held in person in Denver
- Virtual meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings.
- Participants are required to attend most meetings in order to participate in the program.
- Additionally, there are required monthly one-on-one check-in’s with staff and mentor ambassadors
- If accessibility to technology is limited, this will not be a disqualifier
- Self-starter who will engage in projects outside of the meeting time
- Great communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate your ideas in writing.
- Willingness to make connections with other ambassadors, school staff, school leadership and peers
