Launching in 2016, Safe2Tell Colorado will be offering a free four-part webinar series to provide school staff, law enforcement, government agencies, community groups and prevention specialist an accessible platform to learn more about the Safe2Tell prevention initiative in Colorado. Presented by Safe2Tell Colorado staff, the free webinar series will dive into the different areas that comprise the Safe2Tell model and will give participants a deeper understanding of the prevention initiative.
PART 1 the Why: background of school safety and prior incidences of school violence
In this part one of four webinar series about the Safe2Tell model prevention initiative, Susan Payne, Founding Executive Director, will present about the history and strategy behind the successful Safe2Tell model in Colorado. Susan will provide participants with a background of school safety and discuss prior incidences of school violence that influenced the Safe2Tell model foundation.
