On October 8th, Colorado teens will come together to break the silence around suicide. Continuing the conversation from September’s National Suicide Awareness Month, the Colorado Department of Law will host a teen-to-teen conversation to raise awareness about youth suicide prevention and highlight resources available to support those who are struggling. Join the conversation on October 8th by following our livestream at 10am at tiny.cc/teens2teens.Accompanying the conversation is the world premiere of public service announcements (PSA’s), found here, featuring students and young adults. The PSA’s, developed through a partnership between the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, the Colorado Film Office and the Colorado Department of Human Services, are designed to help bring awareness to teen mental health. The hope is that these videos and sites become tools for years to come. Janicek Media, who partnered with S2T and the Colorado Crisis Services, reports how grateful and honored they have been to support this project. We appreciate their work and support of Colorado students!
