Meghan Black knew she was doing the right thing when she told adults that a friend was washing down pills with alcohol. “I didn’t want to go to a friend’s funeral. So, I told on her. As of December 31, 2009, there have been over 7,000 information and educational calls, with 2,050 Safe2Tell™ reports resulting in investigation, early intervention and prevention. Of those 2,050 reports there have been calls from 148 cities and 56 counties throughout the state of Colorado. Safe2Tell™ reports are investigated by school officials and law enforcement.
